A Track A Day: Zackey Force Funk XL Middleton Eddy Funkster "Press Play"
I first heard this track on one of the brilliant Brand New Wayo mixes (I don't think that that British DJs collective is active, but they made some unique genre bumping mixes). This is a nice retro-funk song that I would love to hear while skating in a roller rink.
From the DX FM sounding synths to the beat that thumps, this is an easy listen. There aren't a lot of layers to take in, decode or decrypt. I'd love to meet the Electric Lady, the muse for this music.
