I've used the Rakim quote at least twice, so I won't do that now. I'll just say that I got inspired to post about a track I found on SoundCloud. Attention K-Mart Choppers by Juicy the Emissary sounds like it could be the long lost mixtape for Lifestyle Marketing, by Thes One from People Under the Stairs.

To quote the description from the SoundCloud page:

Similarly, Attention Kmart Choppers is composed of pieces from this collection chopped up, resculpted, and mosaicked together by Juicy The Emissary, forming a new, distinctly contemporary sound while inheriting a haunting nostalgia that provokes memories burrowed deep in the subconscious.
This differs from Lifestyle Marketing in that while each song in the former is a whole piece unto itself. Attention K-Mart Choppers chops various pieces of the K-Mart radio catalog to go take you through a journey of laid back, mellow, funky instrumentals. Clocking in at eleven and a half minutes, it's worth a listen to wind down the end of the day.
